Bringing in The Harvest 2021

We’re getting ready to harvest! Our first harvet wiil be on 27th September, followed by a second picking day on 4 October. Kerry Vale Vineyard has three grape varieties ready to pick; Rondo, Phoenix and Solaris. Each grape varieties ripens at different times which means grapes were harvested over two weeks this year.

All of our volunteer slots are now full. However if you’re interested in joining us, keep a look out on our social media channels for a third picking date later in October.

The fine weather has led to good growing conditions for British Vineyards, which means we’ve got a great crop this year.

Russell and Janet would like to extend a huge thank you to all the people who’ve volunteers to help us this year. “We really couldn’t do it without you” says owner Janet. She went on to say. “Im confident we will have a fantastic couple of day, it’s such a satisfying feeling to see your bucket filling up with grapes as you pick. If you have an interest in wine, it’s a great way to understand how the process begins and how the grapes are grown -  it’s also very social and ends with a glass of wine!”
